Scripture in Schools
The reason for this ministry is to allow the children of our community to have a chance to hear about Jesus. Together with members of other churches in Singleton, we do scripture at the three public primary schools and the outer regional public schools.
We mainly use the excellent Scripture*Plus material from Baptist Ministry Resources. At present, with more mothers encouraged to join the workforce, we are in desperate need of teachers. Help and training are available, or you might like to give it a go as a helper with one of our more experienced teachers. Many children now would never know about Jesus without this ministry! Please pray about this.
